Bolstr is a web based marketplace that is changing the way your favorite local businesses access funding and community support to drive growth. We are the hub that connects young, motivated business owners with real community investors that are passionate about helping them thrive.
First and foremost, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of real people -- real local business owners that are passionate, creative, and motivated to succeed. We’re looking for some fresh, out of the box creativity to craft an ultra intuitive and unique experience for our users. Secondly, you’ll be part of something transformational. We’re changing the way local businesses access funding to grow and compete, so that they can continue to enrich our communities.
We’re a relatively small team stretched across New York, Chicago, and Green Bay (yup, cheese curds).
Bolstr has been operating with our current design for nearly two years, and we’ve received a tremendous amount of feedback from the small businesses that have both successfully and unsuccessfully raised funds on our platform. From more focused branding of the fundraising campaign pages, to better ways to discover and invest in businesses on Bolstr, you’ll be using actionable data to help improve the user experience of business owners and investors alike. With this project, you’ll truly be helping create Bolstr 2.0.
